2. Who we are

3. Scope and purposes of data processing

We process personal data in connection with:

  • creating and managing a Customer account,
  • fulfilling orders for online courses, ebooks and other digital products,
  • managing bookings for in-person events and services,
  • processing payments,
  • issuing accounting documents,
  • handling complaints and refunds,
  • communicating with Customers,
  • sending a newsletter where the user has given consent,
  • statistics and analytics,
  • protecting the website against abuse.

In particular, we may process:

  • full name,
  • email address,
  • telephone number,
  • billing address,
  • company details where applicable,
  • payment and order history data,
  • technical data, including IP address, cookie identifiers and device information.

4. Legal bases for processing

We process data on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, to perform a contract or take steps before entering into a contract,
  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, to comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting obligations,
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, for the controller’s legitimate interests, including securing claims, analytics and protecting the website,
  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, on the basis of consent, including for newsletters and selected cookies.

5. Recipients of data

Data may be disclosed to entities that support the operation of the Store, in particular:

  • hosting and IT service providers,
  • online payment operators,
  • newsletter system providers,
  • analytics and marketing tool providers,
  • the accounting office,
  • legal support providers,
  • entities supporting booking and communication services.

These entities process data under data processing agreements or as independent controllers, in accordance with applicable law.

6. Transfers of data outside the EEA

If we use tools supplied by providers established outside the European Economic Area, data may be transferred outside the EEA only with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data retention periods

We retain data for:

  • the duration of the contract and the fulfilment of an order or booking,
  • the period required by tax and accounting law,
  • the applicable limitation period for claims,
  • until consent is withdrawn, where processing is based on consent.

8. Rights of data subjects

Each data subject has the right to:

  • access their data,
  • rectify their data,
  • erase their data,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on a legitimate interest,
  • withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The Store uses cookies to:

  • ensure the website and purchasing process work correctly,
  • maintain a user session,
  • remember preferences,
  • compile statistics,
  • conduct marketing activities where applicable.

Users can manage cookies through their browser settings or through a cookie consent banner, where one is implemented.

10. Profiling and automated decision-making

Data may be used for marketing profiling, such as matching content to a user. We do not, however, make decisions that produce legal effects for users solely by automated means.

11. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data is voluntary, but in some cases it is necessary to fulfil an order or booking, issue an invoice or respond to an enquiry.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated due to legal, technological or organisational changes. The current version is published on the Store website.
